Chris has received a Bachelor of Science degree from South Dakota State University; a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Dakota; and a Juris Doctorate from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law. As a law student, Chris won top honors in moot court trial competition and competed in a number of regional ABA court competitions, again receiving honors.

After completing his undergraduate studies, Chris served in the U.S. Army as a chemical and nuclear weapons officer and Platoon Leader in the United States and Germany. During his service, he earned Air Assault wings and was awarded two Army Achievement Medals. After returning to civilian life and completing graduate business school, he was recruited by Miles Biotechnology and later BASF. Chris worked in a series of progressive positions with a primary emphasis on business evaluation and development of emerging technologies in the specialty chemical industry. Having achieved his corporate goals, he left BASF and founded the firm that bears his name today.

In addition to his skills as a lawyer, Chris has over 15 years of experience in consultive business development, project management, business valuation, and business negotiations. He has excelled and trained others in these vital business skills both in the U.S. and abroad.
