ATTORNEY PROFILE: Lyndon Laird

Mr. Laird is a trial lawyer with more than 20 years experience in general business litigation, insurance, contracts, negligence, and other areas.

Prior to joining Henslee, Fowler, Hepworth & Schwartz, Mr. Laird worked with the Fort Worth firm of Whitaker, Chalk, Swindle & Sawyer for 4½ years.

Earlier in his career Mr. Laird worked with several Dallas firms and subsequently managed a successful solo civil litigation practice for 6 years. He also served for 4 years as Assistant District Attorney for Navarro County, Texas, where he tried more than 120 court cases and handled numerous appeals. Mr. Laird has negotiated hundreds of settlements on behalf of plaintiff and defendant clients. Many of those cases involved complex business, financial, and technical issues.

Mr. Laird often speaks to civic groups on a variety of legal topics and has published numerous legal articles.
